This full day tour starts with a relaxing drive along the coast road of the Saronic Gulf, in the Aegean Sea as we head toward Corinth for a short stop at the man made Corinth Canal.
Argolida is the name of the area that is home to some of the most awe-inspiring monuments of Greece - Ancient Corinth home to the Apostle St. Paul where he wrote his Epistle's to the Corinthians & Romans, with the magnificent Temple dedicated to Apollo.
The tour continues on to Mycenae City of Gold the excavation of which gave truth to the writings
of Homer author of the epic poems the Iliad and the Odyssey about the lives of people in Ancient times. See the Cyclopean Walls, Lion's Gate, and the Tomb of Agamemnon and visit the Museum.
Next stop is the City of Nafplion formerly the capital of Greece dominated by the imposing Castle above and it's fortress in the harbor is a charming place that may remind you of Plaka in Athens. There are a multitude of shops and Tavernas here should you wish to stop for lunch or we can continue and stop later.
Epidavros Amphitheatre with amazing acoustics and the Sanctuary of Asklepios the Healer God of antiquity. Note: stand on the stage while your friends or family are seated and whisper to them, or strike a match, they heard you? I'm sure they will.
