A Delphi Tour is an exciting visit to one of the most important archaeological sites of Greece, and accordingly, it appears in the itinerary of every traveler who is attracted to the oracle that influenced affairs in the known world for over a thousand years.
The drive from Athens to Delphi takes 3 hours passing through some of the most fertile land in Greece, approximately 2 hours from Athens, there will be a short restroom refreshment break.
When we continue a side excursion can be taken to the mountain retreat of the Monastery of Osios Loukas, alternatively we will continue straight on to Delphi passing the ski resort of Arachova.
You will arrive exactly at the entrance to the Museum to purchase tickets (if required) then take a 
leisurely stroll about 200 meters along a lovely pathway to the site entrance. This is where you will need to decide whether to take the full tour, both downhill and uphill or just the main site which is the uphill side.
After your visit to the site and museum you will be taken to the nearby town of Delphi or Arachova for lunch, there will also be time for some shopping if you wish it.
Once everyone is refreshed from the clean, cool mountain air and lunch its time to head back to Athens via the National Highway.
